Storytelling you can feel

The feeling

 Intentional

It begins long before I ever lift a camera. It’s in the conversations we have about what matters most to you — the people you can’t imagine the day without, the heirloom sewn into your dress, the traditions you’re keeping and the ones you’re rewriting. I want to understand the meaning behind the moments, not just the timeline of events. For me, intention is about honoring your story with care — documenting it thoughtfully and never losing sight of why the day matters..

Authentic

My approach is rooted in honesty. I’ll gently guide when needed, but I’ll never force moments that don’t feel true to you. The laughter, the tears, the quiet nerves, the messy joy — all of it is welcome here. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s truth.

In the moment

Your wedding day goes by quickly. My role is to protect space for you to actually experience it.

I photograph in a way that allows you to stay immersed — holding hands a little longer, taking a deep breath before walking down the aisle, soaking in the sound of your people cheering for you. I’m present without being intrusive, observant without interrupting.

The best photographs happen when you’re not thinking about the camera..

Emotive

I’m always watching for the emotion in moment. The subtle glances. The trembling hands. The unplanned laughter. These are the images that become legacy — not because they’re perfect, but because they’re felt.

I’m Lauren

I’m a Boston-based wedding photographer with a love for travel. Exploring a new place always feels like turning a new page. After moving to Boston in 2020, I found myself beginning again — building community, finding inspiration, and finding roots in a new city.

Photography became my way of connecting with a new place, new people and with myself. I have always loved taking photos, as I found it helped me to stay present and mindful of the details around me. I took a leap and bought my first mirrorless camera (Sony girl here!). I started out wandering through the city with a coffee and my camera, feeling drawn to the charming facades, textures, historic architecture, cozy storefronts and strangers going about their days. The doors of Beacon Hill called me back time and time again. IYKYK.

I felt drawn to capturing people in all seasons of life. A sweet family in my neighborhood was willing to take a chance on me and let me photograph them playing together on the beach. Spoiler alert: I LOVED it. They referred me to friends celebrating an engagement, and the rest was history, as they say.

Storytelling

My approach is emotive and documentary-Style. I treasure telling stories as they naturally unfold. Rather than staging moments, I observe with intention — capturing real interactions, genuine emotion, and the imperfection of the in-between. My favorite photos feel lived-in, intimate, and true to the people within them. My work is rooted in authenticity, prioritizing presence over perfection and connection over control.
